Vegemite IS yucky! I went to Australia once with an Ambassador group and our punishment, if we lost anything and someone else found it, was to eat a Vegemite sandwich. I made damn certain that I had everything with me when we left the hotels. Do you like peanut butter? I <3 peanut butter!!! Vegamite? what the fuck is that? |

Vegemite is a concentrated yeast extract. It's a spread used on toast or sandwiches mainly... but there's lots of room for creativity. And since yeast is a natural source for Vitamin B, Vegemite is really healthy. They have a website with fun facts and whatnot here: www.vegemite.com.au/ . |

& you know why you people dont like it? Most people who come here & when they try a Vegemite sandwhich they think its like chocolate spread & slather it all over the bread. Big mistake. You only put a thin layer on, with lots of butter underneath. & yes. I like Peanut Butter. The crunchy type.  |
